• "Smell-o-vision" is so old-- my first exposure was a rugrats movie
• The hardware is precise enough to place smells accurately with fans
• Actual smell-o-vision machines were actually used in theaters

"No Place Like Oz: A VFX Sampler"

3 things I learned that I did not know before knowing the article:

• They actually had someone control a marionette during filming to properly stage a CG character
• The bubble scene was almost cut
• The director read all of the Oz books to prepare for the movie

• Should have shown CGI characters more, not actors
